Either whoever made the linked ad is stupid, or they think the American people are…
OK folks, if you have not been offended enough by Barack Obama’s outright lies, then this one will certainly do it. After claiming that people who built businesses didn’t do it on their own, Team Obama has come out with a new ad saying that he didn’t say that.
The ad comes up with Mitt Romney reading a direct quote from Barack Obama, then the ad cuts to a snide text remark, “The only problem? That’s not what he (Obama) said.”
The problem is that not even twenty seconds later the clip comes up with Barack Obama stating exactly what Romney said he did. Someone at the Obama campaign might need some sort of psychiatric help I think.
Seriously, this is Orwellian. The creepiness of blatant lies is very disturbing. This isn’t like semantics which can occur in politics and it takes some investigating to figure it out. Obama says exactly what Romney claims he said and what we have video of him saying right in the very ad spot!
Here’s the video, where at 38 seconds into it, Obama is seen saying exactly what Romney quoted him, verbatim, as saying at 11 seconds into the video, which at 18 seconds in, the video makers claim “That’s not what he said.” It’s exactly what he said, word for word, liars / dumbasses:
mum lawyer is an obama troll.
Here’s the full quote:
“If you’ve been successful, you didn’t get there on your own. You didn’t get there on your own. I’m always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart. There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something — there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there.
“If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen. The Internet didn’t get invented on its own. Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet.”
For an ostensible Republican, she does seem excessively concerned that Obama not be ‘misinterpreted’. Of course, black people tend to close ranks behind one of their own…
I won’t participate but I’d rather have Romney than Obamao.
I don’t know that it matters all that much.
Cogs of the same machine
Exactly my point.
Whoever wins, the people lose.
