The famous / infamous (depending on one’s POV; I wasn’t personally a fan) Christian ‘Painter of Light’ (TM) Thomas Kinkade passed away last week.
IMO, Thomas L. McDonald has a decent obituary, and realistic appraisal of his work, here.
